1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

We collect data you provide voluntarily (name, email, phone, number of guests) when you book through our partner GuestPlan or contact us by email/phone. We also collect technical browsing data (IP address, browser type) via technical and third-party cookies.

If you place a takeaway order on order.adlerkeller.it we also collect what we need to prepare and hand over the order: full name, email, phone number, the collection time you choose, the dishes ordered together with any notes you write (including notes about allergies or intolerances), and the outcome of the payment. Your card details never reach us: payment is handled entirely on Stripe's systems.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Managing reservations and gift cards (contract performance).
• Handling takeaway orders: preparation, collection, payment, refund on cancellation, and sending the confirmation, order-ready and cancellation emails (contract performance).
• Keeping the order as an accounting and tax record (legal obligation).
• Responding to enquiries (legitimate interest).
• Analytics and site improvement (consent, where required).

4. Third-party services

We use GuestPlan (reservations and gift cards) and Google Maps (map). These services may process data under their own privacy policies.

For takeaway we use Stripe (online payments; it processes card data as an independent controller) and an email service to send the messages about your order. Orders are stored on our own server, not with third-party services.

5. Retention

Data is kept for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and legal obligations.

Takeaway orders. Each order is saved as a single document on our server and kept for 10 years, the period required by Italian tax and accounting law. Orders that were started but never paid are deleted automatically within 48 hours. Your browser also keeps the cart and your order references locally (localStorage) so the “My orders” page can show them: that data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed by clearing the site's data.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise them, write to info@adlerkeller.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

7. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device to make the site work and improve your browsing experience.

8. Cookies we use

• Technical (necessary): ensure the site works and remember your language and consent. No consent required.
• Reservations (GuestPlan): activated when you open the booking or gift-card widget.
• Map (Google Maps): loaded to show our location.

9. Managing consent

On your first visit you can accept or decline non-necessary cookies via the banner. You can change your browser settings to block or delete cookies at any time.
